Kibera Women Strength

Gender stereotypes and bias are nothing in the society we live in. For a long period, both young girls had been denied opportunities to access different special needs that were believed that could only be done by men around the society.

Today in the Kibera slum this has changed. Women around Kibera slum have not only taken time to develop their business skills, but also take great opportunities and chances to make sure that the young girls living in the slum are going to school.

This has not only made progress in many girls' life but has also stopped the chances of young girls being involved in drug abuse and early childhood teenage pregnancies.
